HIV will take between 18-45 days before it can be picked up by a blood test. If you think you have been exposed to the virus, you should take relevant precautions until a blood test can provide a conclusive test result.
Blood tests for Sexually Transmitted Infections will test you for HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. We also need to take swab tests which will be explained prior to your appointment.
For most tests results only take a matter of days, but some more complex tests can take longer. When booking online you can get an approximate wait time for your blood test.
Each blood test requires its own vial as it is tested individually and must be paid for separately.
